Macro Pictures

Overall, I like taking pictures on macro. I did have some difficulty when getting really close to and object to get it to focus. I like taking pictures of things on a weird angle because it becomes something totally different when its up close like this. Digital is still a little new for me, and when taking pictures up close, it seemed to turn out differently then I expected. I don't know if it was the settings, or what exactly. Overall though, I could get what I was trying to achieve.

This is an interesting one. This is actually the cabinets in my kitchen. It is looking up, and the way the light is hitting at the bottom then gets gradually darker is a need effect. Who knew you could take something like this at home!

This is my dog of course. I always have trouble taking pictures of him with the digital camera because of the reflection from eyes. I think this one turned out good because he is not looking directly at the camera. I know there is a setting you can us that can prevent the reflection but I am not sure what it is! This is a good shot of him...I like the side view. I'm sure he was looking for trouble and I am sure he probably found it!

I like this photo above. This is my ceiling fan at home. I just think it gives a different perspective because of how the light reflects and creates a shadow around the edges. I always like taking pictures of lights because you never know how they are going to turn out.

  1. Great pictures. I really like the first one.
Great angle. At first glance it looked like a faucet.
