Action shots

When I think of action shots I think of NY! In both these shots I was able to capture the movement of people.

Portrait photo

I really do like taking portrait pictures. The one problem I came across when taking this photo is the reflection in the glasses. I used to work for a school portraits company, so when photographing children we always had this problem. The one thing you have to do is tilt the glasses down on the bridge of the nose. Other than that I have not come across any other problems!

Clone tool, patch tool

The original photo is below. In the background you will notice that I used the patch tool to remove two people that were standing next to the tree, one on each side. I love this tool...its so handy.

Below is the original. I used the clone tool to duplicate the biker. Another great tool!

Filters

Below is the original photo. I applied the photo filter I used was cyan at 25%. Just a slight change but I think it definitely made it brighter.

Below is the original photo. I used the photo filter sepia at 100%. I love using the sepia color!

Dodge and burn

Above is the original photo. It seemed kinda dark so I decided to highlight what I thought the main parts of the picture would be. So I used the dodge tool on the rent signs, as well as the lights below. I used the dodge tool on the sidewalk sign, and other parts in the background.
